…Urges Arab, Islamic countries, free nations to escalate punitive measures
The Palestinian Resistance Movement (Hamas) on Friday, praised Turkiye’s supportive stance toward the Palestinian people amid the brutal genocide being carried out by the criminal Israeli occupiers.
This commendation comes following Turkiye’s announcement, reaffirming full trade halt with Israel, closing its airspace to Israeli aircraft, and prohibiting Turkish ships from heading to ports in the occupied territories.
In a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), Hamas welcomed Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan’s announcement of cutting economic and trade relations with Israel, closing airspace to its flights, and exposing its ongoing crimes and aggression against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.
Hamas also called on Turkiye, Arab and Islamic countries, and free nations worldwide to escalate punitive measures against the criminal Israeli entity, severe all ties, isolate it, and compel it to halt the genocide, the destruction of Gaza, and the obliteration of all means of life there, while holding its leaders accountable for crimes against humanity.
