Abuja is set for a rare and remarkable family celebration as nine children of former Governor of Zamfara State and the Minister of State for Defence, Mal. Bello Matawalle, prepare to enter into matrimony on the same day.
Social media has been buzzing since the wedding invitation card surfaced online, drawing excitement and admiration for what many have described as a historic family event.
Muslim News Nigeria can confirm that preparations for the grand ceremony are already in top gear.

According to the invitation card sighted by our correspondent, the multiple wedding ceremony will take place at the Abuja National Mosque on February 6, beginning at 1:30pm. The card, which features the minister’s photograph, lists the couples-to-be as:
Ibrahim, Suraj, Safiya, Maryam, Aisha, Fahad, Muh’d, Nana Firdausi, and Farida.
Confirming the development to Sunday Punch, the APC spokesperson in Zamfara State, Yusuf Idris, disclosed that the celebrants include five sons and four daughters of the minister.
“By the grace of Allah, the nikaah will hold at the Abuja Central Mosque on February 6,” Idris said, adding, “I am part of the organising committee, and arrangements have reached an advanced stage to ensure a smooth and memorable ceremony.”
