Muslim News Nigeria has released the e-cover of its Ramadan 1447 AH (March 2026) print edition, spotlighting the inspiring achievements of 30 Muslim Women of Substance in commemoration of International Women’s Day.
The special edition celebrates outstanding Muslim women whose dedication, professionalism and commitment to faith continue to make meaningful contributions across various sectors of society. From governance and public policy to medicine, law, education, media, technology and humanitarian service, the women featured exemplify the powerful blend of faith, knowledge and leadership.
According to the publisher of Muslim News Nigeria, Rasheed Abubakar, the initiative is aimed at recognising Muslim women who are breaking barriers, inspiring younger generations and demonstrating that excellence in professional life can coexist with devotion to Islamic values and modesty.
Beyond the celebration of Muslim women, the Ramadan edition also presents a rich collection of well-researched reports and feature stories designed to inform and inspire readers during the holy month. These include coverage of major activities marking Ramadan in different communities, the latest updates on preparations for the 2026 Hajj pilgrimage, as well as engaging features on notable Muslim personalities and other issues of interest to the Muslim community.
The 16-page, full-colour newspaper edition will be available for free distribution from this weekend, continuing the publication’s tradition of providing accessible and quality journalism to its readers.
Members of the public, organisations and well-meaning individuals are encouraged to support the initiative by obtaining copies for wider free distribution within mosques, schools, offices and communities, thereby helping to amplify inspiring stories and strengthen positive narratives about Muslims in Nigeria and beyond.
