The National Vice President (South) of The National Council Of Muslim Youth Organisations (NACOMYO), Ustadh Abdul-Majeed Momoh has returned to his Lord, Allah.

According to a statement made available to Muslim News, he died on the evening of Friday, 4th September, after a protracted battle with an undisclosed illness.

He was described as a daiyah (a person who invites people to the right path, Islam) per excellence in a statement.

The statement reads, “Inna liLahi wa inna ilaehi raaji’uuna. This is to inform all that our dear Brother, Abdul-Mojeed Momoh died this evening of the 4th day of September 2020 after battling with an illness over a period of time.

“Until his death, he was the National Vice President 1 of NACOMYO. He was a daiyah who despite his illness strove till he breathed his last.

“May Allah accept his return as a dutiful servant, console and take good care of his family, and bless his Da’wah efforts.”
