An excellent Girls Educational Service has unveiled the first and only Muslim Girls school in Southwest, Nigeria, established to promote the culture of quality educational and excellence from within a caring and secure Islamic environment enriched with the value of discipline.
The school named, ‘Islaameyah Girls High School’ is located at Jericho Idishin Road, Ibadan, Oyo State and operates on both day and boarding facilities for only female Muslims across the country.
The special educational facility runs an integrated curriculum (Nigerian and British) while students are provided with Islamic education that comprises Arabic studies and Qur’an memorisation.
In tune with modern realities, the school which is currently accepting admission into JSS and SSS classes, also offers mentorship sessions to students, alongside vocational and entrepreneurship training.
Findings carried out by Muslim News revealed that the private school which is established for bringing up girls of value and dignity, is sited in a serene and conducive environment with adequate security and well-spaced classroom that enhance teaching and learning.
While speaking with our correspondent, the School Director, Hajia Khadijat Bello said the management has put in place security measures to ensure the safety of the day and boarding students in particular.

According to her, “The school facility is much more than a passive container of the educational process. It is rather an integral component of the condition of learning. The sense of ownership, safety and security as well as sociality and spaciousness.
“The premises is well equipped for the safety and security of our girls in addition to the necessary manpower being deployed to ensure all possible protection.
“Our dormitories are tailored to meet the needs of our girls who are just leaving home for the first time. Air conditioned rooms, Hot shower bathrooms washing machine etc. at their disposal.”

She also hinted that the school is presently accepting admission into classes 1 and 2 of both Junior and Senior Secondary Schools, urging parents to enroll their children to get the nice experience.
As for the school fees, Mrs. Bello said unlike other Muslim owned secondary institutions, Islaameyah Girls High School is affordable, adding that, “It costs N250,000 (Two hundred and fifty thousand naira per term), excluding Uniform, Books and Extra Curricula activities.”
