Jordan based Islamic scholar, Sheikh Ali bin Hassan Al-Halabi has returned to his Creator, Allah, after complications from the deadly novel Coronavirus.
Sheikh Al Halabi, one of the senior students of Hadith scholar, Sheikh Nasir-ud-Deen Al- Albani, died on Sunday, November 15, and has since been buried according to Islamic rites.
The news of his death came barely a few days after another renowned scholar, Sheikh Abu Ameenah Bilal Philips recovered from the same viral infection.
Announcing the death of one of the respected Salafee scholars, his close friend, Sheikh Abu Usamah Al-Thahabi said Sheikh Al-Halabi died on Sunday morning, November 15, in Jordan, at exactly 9am (UK time) after complications from COVID-19.
Speaking further in a YouTube video, Sheikh Thalabi said Sheikh Al-Halabi has since been buried in an Islamic Cemetery in Jordan, next to his late teacher Sheikh Albani, in accordance with Islamic rites.
He described his death as a great loss for the Ummah, especially those living in the west.
So many of his students and followers, including those in Nigeria have continued to pray for him, asking Allah to forgive him his sins, have mercy upon him and grant him al-jannah firdaus.
