Nigeria’s finest Music star, Olanrewaju Abdul-Ganiu Frasasi, popularly known as Sound Sultan, is dead.
He was 44 years old.
The Jagbajantis crooner, lost it to his battle with cancer of the throat on Sunday, July 11, equivalent to the 1st of Dhul Hijjah, 1442 AH.
In a brief statement issued by Dr Kayode, on behalf of the Fasasi family, Sound Sultan, a devout Muslim, died on Sunday, July 11, following a hard fought battle with angiommunoblastic t-cell lymphoma.

IT IS WITH HEAVY HEARTS THAT WE ANNOUNCE THE PASSING OF MULTITALENTED VETERAN SINGER, RAPPER, SONGWRITER OLANREWAJU FASASI A.K.A SOUNDSULTAN HE PASSED AWAY AT THE AGE OF 44 FOLLOWING A HARD FOUGHT BATTLE WITH ANGIOIMMUNOBLASTIC T-CELL LYMPHOMA.
