Nigeria’s Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Isa Ali Ibrahim Pantami, (PhD) will on Friday, August 13, virtually commission seven projects for the digital economy sector completed by his ministry.
The Honourable Minister made the announcement on Wednesday via his verified social media handles.
He said the virtual commissioning of the projects, scheduled for 10am simultaneously at seven different locations across Nigeria, is part of the activities lined up to mark his second anniversary in office.
According to him, As part of implementation of the National Digital Economy Policy and Strategy, the Honourable Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Isa Ali Ibrahim (Pantami), PhD will on Friday 13th August, 2021 commission the following 7 completed projects for the digital economy sector.
“The Batch 11 commissioning of the digital economy projects is also part of activities lined up to mark the Honourable Minister’s second year in office,” the statement added
Last year, Dr. Pantami emerged the 2020 Muslim News Nigeria Minister of the Year for his unprecedented excellent performance and transformation of the ministry, after a painstaking assessment of the efforts of current Federal Executive Council (FEC) Ministers during their one year in office.
Sheikh Pantami, as the Honourable Minister is fondly called went ahead to clinch this medium’s Muslim Personality of the Year Award 2020 for his unrelenting efforts to digitize the Nigerian Economy and provide the right (religious) education to a global audience.
