It was jubilation galore for the Nigerian Muslim community in Chicago as Ahmad AbdurRahman Ahmad bagged a bachelors degree at the Governor State University (GSU), Illinois, United States of America.
Ahmad is one of the beautiful scions of Hajiya Rabiah and Imam AbdurRahman Ahmad, the National Missioner and spiritual head of Ansar-Ud-Deen Society of Nigeria.
Muslim News findings revealed that Ahmad, who transferred from North American University, Houston, Texas, studied Computer Science, College of Arts and Science, Division of Science, Mathematica and Technology, between 2019 and 2021.

He was among 1,000 graduates honored during the morning and afternoon ceremonies held on Saturday, May 14, 2022 at the Tinley Park Convention Center.
The event featured a moving performance of the Black National Anthem for the first time in the history of GSU
Later on the same day, families and friends held a colourful walimah (reception) for the latest graduand, who we reliably learnt has completed his hifz of the Qur’an (Qiraah of hafs from ‘Aasim).

While in Nigeria for his elementary school, Ahmad attended Vanguards Academy, Ogun State; FIEF Academy, Lagos and later proceeded to Nigerian Turkish International School, Lagos to complete his secondary education.
