As part of preparations for the 2023 Hajj, the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) has concluded all arrangements to hold a one-day workshop on Hajj Management.
The programme with the theme: “Training and Capacity Building for Group Leaders in Hajj” is schedule for Saturday, May 13, at the Conference Hall of the Hajj House, FCT, Abuja.
The lead speaker at the much-awaited event is the Director-General and Consultant of Deputy Minister of Hajj and Umrah in Saudi Arabia, Dr. Badr Muhammad Al Solamin.
Other resource persons include: Dr. Mohammed Shokri Zamzami, the Executive Director of the Pilgrims Tawwaf Committee and Jamrat Grouping in Muassassah; Abdullah Hammadu Adam, Administrative Officer, Muassassah.
Over 90 Participants are expected to attend the workshop, which includes members and executives of the forum of states’ oilgrims welfare boards/agencies/commissions, chief executives of jnternational private tour operators, directors and management staff of NAHCON and other stakeholders.
In a statement released by the Deputy Director, Information and Publication, NAHCON, Mal. Mousa Ubandawaki on Thursday, the Commission said the resource persons have arrived the country to the warm embrace of the Chairman/CEO, NAHCON, Alh. Zikrullah Kunle Hassan.
Muslim News gathered that in the entourage of the Chairman were the Commissioner in charge of Policy, Personnel Management and Finance (PPMF), Alh. Nura Hassan Yakasai, the Commissioner for Planning, Research, Statistics, Information and Library Services (PRSILS), Sheikh Suleman Mommoh and the Commissioner in charge of Operations, Licensing and Tour Operators (OIL), Alh. Abdullahi Magaji Hardawa, and senior management staff of the Commission.
