• Protesters boo ‘wonder woman’ actress, taunt her to re-join Israeli army
Israeli actress, Gal Gadot is facing criticism following reports of her involvement in organising a US screening of a film, titled, Bearing Witness, depicting the October 7 attack on Israel by Palestinian resistance group, Hamas, as she failed to acknowledge the Palestinian experience.
Multiple reports including Islam Channel said that the ‘Wonder Woman’ actress did not show up to the screening which also experienced low attendance, with empty seats and the absence of anticipated celebrity appearances.
Gadot, a former fitness instructor in the IDF, has continuously expressed her support for Israel, particularly during times of heightened aggression involving Israel and Palestine.
The news has continued to generate reactions on social media with many netizens lambasting the actress for supporting Israel, which has killed over 15,000 Palestinians, including children and woman, since the beginning of her offensive in the besieged Gaza strip.
They described her as a very terrible actress in many of her films including Justice League, Death on the Nile, telling her to rẹ-join the Israeli army rather than using her movies as soft power to push her pro-Israeli propaganda.

“The end of Gal Gadot…she can go back to Israel and rejoin the army”, Azian Adnan on Instagram said, while Mase Sawabini added that, “Everyone should boycott her movies. Next one to come out is Snowwhite. It comes out in 2025. I hope people remember this… boycott everything about her”.
“Glad her lies got nowhere. 👏👏👏 for all those that did not show up to this audition, I couldn’t care less for heartless people like her that all they do is spread more and more lies. I stand with all those innocent people getting murdered everyday and those little souls that never got a chance in life. 💔 God, bless 🇵🇸,” Dora Isidoro said.
