– Free eye test and eye glasses for 1st 100 audience

The Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Sa’ad Abubakar III; Osun State Governor,  Alhaji Isiaka Gboyega Oyetola and other top dignitaries are expected to grace the Pre-Ramadan Lecture of the University of Lagos Muslim Alumni (UMA) slated for Sunday, April 28, 2019 at the University of Lagos Main Auditorium by 10am.

The lecture, the 25th of its kind, will capture the theme; ‘Managing Diversity: Whither the Muslims?’, which will be discussed by two scholars of Islamic jurisprudence, a Professor of Islamic Law at the University of Ilorin, Prof. Abdur-Razaq Abdul Majeed Alaro and Dr Luqman Zakariyah of the International Islamic University, Malaysia.

The Ramadan preparation programme will feature on its sidelines free eye tests and free eye glasses for the first one hundred persons to grace the occasion and who are in need of such glasses.

The occasion will be hosted under the chairmanship of the UMA President, Alhaji Shuaib Afolabi Salis, a former Deputy Chief of Staff to the Governor of Ogun State, while the University of Lagos Vice Chancellor, Prof. Oluwatoyin Ogundipe will be the Chief Host.
