Muslims on social media have continued to react to the removal of Suleiman The Magnificent’s name from one of Saudi Arabia’s street tags, saying Riyadh can only remove his name off its street but cannot remove his heroic feats from the minds of the Muslims.

Ankasa Musad said, “Let them remove his name. What else can they do? They can’t remove remove Suleiman, the magnificent from history! They will never be his mate.!”

Gökhan Türkjanli said, “Suleiman The Magnificent built broken wall of the Kabee, 5th minare of Kabee built by him in Istanbul and sent to there, built a mesjid over prophet Muhammad SAW house in medina to preserve it. Doesn’t matter if his name removed, his work is there”.

Andrej Karpov supported the removal, saying,
Suleiman The Magnificent should be deleted from history because he caused so much harm to Europe.

For Meer Nazeer Ahmed, “It is not a big deal, after all, Saudi Arabia belongs to Saudis and everyone here (in the Kingdom) has a country and street which we live and walk.”

Haleemah Khalid said, however, that, Islam spread from Mecca and….thus, KSA should be the pinnacle of Islamic teachings rather than a regime that uses Islam to control people and with the magnitude of resources Allah has blessed KSA with – it should be protecting Muslims everywhere in the world.
