The Director of Muslim Rights Concern, MURIC, Prof Lakin Akintola has announced the death of his elder sister, Hajia Ramotu Omisore (nee Akintola).
In a statement issued by Prof Akintola on Monday, Hajia Omisore returned to Allah on Saturday, 12th November 2022 after a brief illness.
Muslim News gathered that she has since been buried in Ile-Ife on Sunday, 13th November 2022, in accordance to Islamic rites.
The statement read:
“Inna lilahi wa inna ilayhi raaji’uun. With a heavy heart but with total submission to Almighty Allah, I announce the death of my senior sister, Hajia Ramotu Omisore (nee Akintola), who departed this sinful world on Saturday, 12th November 2022 after a brief illness. She was buried in Ile-Ife yesterday, Sunday, 13th November, 2022.
“She was a strong member of the Ansar-ud-Deen Society of Nigeria, Ile-Ife branch. May Allah forgive her and grant her aljannah firdaus. Aamiin. I solicit for more prayers for her from Muslim brothers and sisters,” the statement added.
