A Nigerian researcher with African Union, Sherifdeen Akanji Dhikrullah and his beautiful wife, Kaussar Muhammad AbdurRahman Trewere, a Ghanaian-American were filled with happiness as they gathered families and friends on Sunday, January 8, at Ghana National Mosque, Accra for their superlative Nikaah (holy solemnization).
Seebah, as the groom is fondly called left his hometown in Iseyin, the ancient city in Oyo state with his family and friends to pluck a beautiful rose at the compound of Sheikh AbdurRahman Trewere in far Spintex, Accra, Ghana, in a move many guests believe will further strengthen the aged long relationship between the two Anglophone countries in Africa.
While the latest groom, a former volunteer with Muslim News Nigeria graduated with a First Class in French Education from the University of Ibadan, Southwest Nigeria, his beautiful wife, Kausar, who works as a Finance Coordinator at The LEAP, New Haven Connecticut, United States, bagged her first degree in Biomedical Science at Mount Holyoke College, Massachusetts and Masters at the University of Connecticut, United States.
With the successful solemnization conducted by great scholars and the coming together of the families to become one, we can only pray that their union will bring an end to the Ghana-Nigeria jollof rice debate. 😊
May Allah bless their home with everlasting happiness. Ameen
