An Iwo-born scholar and beautiful Muslimah, Asisat Adeola Isamot, has made her family, friends and the Ummah proud as she emerged best graduating student from the Faculty of Nursing and Science at Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) in Ogbomoso with a 4.74/5.0 CGPA.
Muslim News gathered that the academic virtuoso was the cynosure of all eyes during the 14th Induction Ceremony of the College of Health Sciences held at the 1500-capacity Lecture Theatre in LAUTECH earlier in January.
She was declared the overall best graduating student.
Isamot won several awards during the ceremony, including NUNSA’s Award for Academic Excellence, HOD’S Award for Overall Best in Community Public Health Nursing, HOD’S Award for Overall Best in Maternal and Child Health Nursing, HOD’s Award for Overall Best in Medical-Surgical Nursing and the Provost’s Award for Overall Best Graduating Student.
The young Muslimah has proven that the Hijab isn’t a barrier and with determination and dedication, there are no limitations.
