The Chairman/CEO of National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON), Alhaji Zikrulla Kunle Hassan, has expressed his heartfelt condolences to the family of the former Minister of Justice and Founder of Crescent University, Abeokuta, on the passing away of the patriarch, Prince Abdul Jabar Bola Ajibola, who died on Saturday midnight.
In a condolence message signed by Mousa Ubandawaki, NAHCON Deputy Director, Information and Publications, Abuja, Alhaji Hassan said Prince Ajibola’s demise is not only a loss to the family but to the people of Ogun state, the entire Muslim Ummah and Nigeria as a whole.
“As an Elder statesman, Jurist and a trailblazer, his indelible mark will be very difficult to fill”, he noted.
The NAHCON chairman said “The late judge of the International Court of Justice (ICJ) Hague, Netherlands, is not only my teacher but also a mentor and source of inspiration.
“His death leaves a heartache no one can heal. However, I take solace in the fact that those we love don’t go away. They walk beside us every day.
“His contributions to Islam and knowledge propagation will be forever remembered and missed. There are no words that can fully express my gratitude, but my prayer is that his soul finds peace and comfort in Aljanat”, he added.
